The Front of Our StoreOur retail shop is located in historic Abbeville, SC. Come to Abbeville and experience a taste of small town America. Step back into the past and walk the brick streets around the bustling square. Stay at one of the Bed and Breakfast Inns, and catch a play at the Abbeville Opera House, which has been entertaining folks since 1908. Abbeville was founded in the late 18th century as the county seat of Abbeville County. The town was named after John de la Howe's home town of Abbeville, France. John C. Calhoun, a native son, had his law offices here for several years. Abbeville claims to be the "Birthplace and the Deathbed of the Confederacy", as the town is the site of the first organized secession meeting in South Carolina and President Jefferson Davis held his last cabinet meeting here. You can learn more about Abbeville by going to the link shown here: http://www.abbevillescchamber.com/home.htm.
