We are Dennis and Peggy Earp of Greenwood, SC. Though originally from Oklahoma, we began our textile career in South Carolina about 15 years ago when Dennis went to work for Ninety Six Manufacting, which is a subsidiary of Greenwood Mills. After running the plant for the last several years, it was closed in August of 2003. Peggy worked during this time in the retail fabric portion of the business. During several years of volunteering at the Ninety Six National Historic Site we began to research the textiles of the 18th century, and starting selling period correct fabrics to the local reenactors. From there, as the saying goes, things "grew like Topsy". During these years we sutlered at 18th Century events as "96 Fabrics", from New York to Florida.

We opened our own "reenactor supply" business in November, 2003, which consists of our retail shop in Abbeville, SC, our sutler business, where you can find us at various 18th and 19th Century events, and our ever growing mail-order business.

Our textile research continues, and we are currently in the process of having fabrics woven for us that have become unavailable, or increasingly difficult to find.

Thank you for looking at our web-site, and we hope to see you at an event or our shop real soon.
